Pinot Noir Reserve
Chateau Elan Pinot Noir keeps showcasing a bigger structure and darker color than a Burgundian or Oregonian Pinot Noir. The character of the 2015 vintage is following the same path of the previous editions and adds a little something more that could be defined as a delicate smoothness. On the nose is undeniably earthy with touches of raspberry jam and sweet flowers (gardenia mainly). The taste profile opens up with a wide and voluminous entrance, followed by a powdery soft tannins coating the palate and ends with a bright acidity with a long spicy/sweet finish. Over the next few months the layers will become even more evident and the nose will unveil some more spicy notes.
