This is the first time that we aged a wine for this long. It took almost 3 years for it to be ready. These grapes grew on the top of an old volcano in Kelseyville, on a dry farmed vineyard. The berries were extremely small and rich. From the beginning it showed what Earth and Sun can produce at their best. 100% Tempranillo aged in Troncais French new oak, obviously never filtered and with almost zero sulfites. In the glass you can find inviting perfumes of licorice, stone dust and cinnamon and at the taste it is just a fully accomplished vision of what a classic opera prima wine is for the most exigent wine lovers. A balance of complex taste layers which leave you without words.
